Young girl attends first day at University away from home and alone without her friends or parents. She travels there by train and reaches her destination lost and with no idea where to go. She asks a male for directions and he leads her to it. When they get there, it isn't the university but in-fact its a big abandoned building (which he says is his home). He says he is just stopping off for a map, she gets worried and starts to find the exit. She gets lost and hears the man shouting her and his footsteps get louder and louder. She rings her mum and then man finally approaches her, the phone is found on the floor and the voice of her mother is heard.
The film 'Taken' is very similar as theres a male stranger who shows two girls the way to their hotel whilst they are on holiday as they don't know where they're going. The stranger turns out to be a criminal who kidnaps the girls which is the same as my film idea. Both 'Taken' and my film both use a male who is the kidnapper and young girls as the victims which are stereotypes used often in thriller films.
I also got the idea of the phone call as it creates a lot of tension and suspense which makes the film more interesting to watch.
